Is It Worth Paying for Expert Golf Lessons in Fort Lauderdale?

Absolutely yes. You can progress much faster in your golfing journey, especially when combing an experienced PGA Pro coach with tuition at an 18-hole championship golf course. This makes course management second nature, whereas the coaches teaching at facilities like driving ranges are limited to specific drills. Fort Lauderdale coaches usually have no choice and it gets repetitive fast. Which can lead to an unbalanced teaching regime. We like little guideline such as the 70/30 rule of golf. Which is a suggestion to make 70% of your training short game focused.

Weekly coaching typically doubles the speed of improvement. It depends on your level but a realistic aim for regular players with some experience is 2 strokes off your handicap each month.

​Does Duncan spend the whole year in Fort Lauderdale?
At the end of April 2026 Duncan returns to Boston for 5-6 months, where he will continue golf instruction at Brookline Golf Club until fall. He returns to Fort Lauderdale in October 2026 for the winter season. Golfers are not left without help, as Duncan offers golf lessons for everyone online. 

Do you also teach beginners and kids classes?
Yes, beginners are welcome, as are kids. If you are in Fort Lauderdale and searching for "beginner or kids golf classes near me", you are in luck. Group sessions are also available. Duncan teaches golf classes for kids, adults, plus all levels of players. 

What makes your golf class different?
You’ll get real-grass practice, on-course instruction,  Full Swing Radar Technology, V1 swing analysis, and evidence-based training. All at a challenging 18-hole championship golf course. This is combined into a practical, simple approach that helps you play better golf faster. What is the average cost of golf lessons in Fort Lauderdale? 
$110 for 1 lesson. For online instruction $75. There is a military discount (15%), or when you book long term packages. Prices are discounted for groups, kids and some seniors.
